The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the film, adding that he cannot recall "a single day without laughter".
"The movie is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes continued.
He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

In a different piece, revered director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.
